Q

How does a septic tank work

A

Inside the septic tank the bacteria converts part of the sludge into gases by aerobic decomposition.
The effluent flows into the soakaway pit with filter medium. It enhances further treatment of the effluent.
Discharge seeps into soil.

Q

How does a RBC works?

A

Raw waste water goes into the primary treatment tank
The treated water goes to the secondary tank
The first tank removes screened and sewage and settable soil
The effluent contacts with the surface or RBC on which micro-organism are planted
The secondary tank filters the effluent and removes the suspended solids before discharging.
The rotation and subsequent exposure allows micros to multiply forming biomass causing degradation of pollutants
