What’s would be the woods disadvantages
The bad things are there is no water supply, nasty harmful animals. Easy to spot from far away
Imagine there is a flat wooded area what would be its advantages for settling there
It has wood for building and for fires hard to attack. Wild animals sheltered and on flat land. You can also hide well in there so people can’t see you when they are attacking
Imagine now you are in a valley with a hilly landscape and a stream running through it and mountains in the background what are it’s advantages if you would like to settle there
It has a large water supply for drinking water and cooking, hills so hard to attack
What are the valleys disadvantages
Easy to spot ,not near trees possible flooding, misty and dangerous
Now imagine you are settling on a flat grassy plain with a wood surrounding it near a river what are it’s advantages
It has wood for building and fires, hard to spot, water supply, wild animals to eat and flat land
What are the grassy plains disadvantages
Not on a hill
Out of all of these settlements which is the best
The last one is the best because it is safest and it has the most advantages and least disadvantages

The would look for protection flat land or hills,animals, security and water
Nowadays what do people look for In a settlement
Peace,employment,family,garden,quiet,spacious,shops,town nearby,good weather and near beaches and countryside

Large shops,civic buildings,important junctions,offices and entertainment

Terraced houses, lots of houses are ‘to let’ and have problems
What is in a inner suburbs
Semi-detached houses with gardens, less congestion and be hike access planned

More open space, edge of city.

Agriculture,mixed lands, animals,business goes on here and nature
