Foreboding
Example: In my childhood, I usually had the feeling of foreboding, no matter how well I’m prepared

Example: Thick skinned people have the quality to stay obdurate no matter how much criticism and invection they face
Insensitive to criticism or insults

Example: This generation is full of fragile people who are susceptible and apprehensive at the same time

Example: There’s no reason to be apprehensive if we’re notioned about the transient nature of our lives

A very deep hole that seems to have no bottom

Example: People who are susceptible and compliant tend to be capricious and probing too
