Nursing Home
A long-term care facility that provides the highest level of care.
Assisted Living Facility
A long-term care facility that provides less care than a nursing home and is typically for people who need help with ADLs but do not require 24-hour medical supervision.
Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)
A long-term care facility that offers a variety of living options, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.
Adult Foster Care Home
A long-term care facility that is a small home that provides care to a small number of people.
Medical Care
Services provided by long-term care facilities, such as medication management, wound care, and physical therapy.
Personal Care
Services provided by long-term care facilities to help with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Social Support
Services provided by long-term care facilities, such as social activities and support groups.
