Angioplasty
-Medical operation where the heart is accessed through femoral artery and occluded blood vessels are enlarged and cleaned.
CABG
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graph

- Open Heart Surgery
- When angioplasty is no effective blood vessels can be replaced with other blood vessels (from legs or animals).
- Will be written as CABX x2 (x3 etc) enumerating how many vessels were replaced.
Cardiomegaly
- Enlarged Heart

Edema
-Swelling in hands and/or feed due to fluid buildup.
Ascities
-Fluid in abdomen.
Polycythemia
- Excess of RBC (Red Blood Cells) which need to be drained.
- Will present with bright swollen nose.
Hemopytsis
-Coughing Up Blood

- Pulmonary Embolism
- Blood clot in lungs
- Can present with Chest Pain, SOB, dizziness
D-Dimer
-Diagnostic test to diagnose PE
