6
Q

What is the difference between controlled shipping 1 and controlled shipping 2?

A

Controlled shipping level 1 is a mandatory inspection, but could be done at their own facility with their own people. Controlled shipping 2 requires the controlled shipping level 1 inspection AND another 3rd party inspection of the material. The controlled shipping 2 is also a longer-term service because they have to go 30 days without supplying non-conforming material/product.
