Common Service
Bloodwork, CBC (Complete Blood Count)/Chem, is commonly done every few weeks for each service to see how medications are doing on a patient
Cardiology
EKG, Echocardiograms, and Radiographs (X-Rays)
Dermatology
Skin Scraping, Allergy Tests, Ear Flushes, Ear CT scans, and cytologies
Internal Medicine
AUS (abdominal ultrasound), CT scan, radiographs, BRONOscopy (throat, ENDOscopy (butt), and RHINOscopy (nose).
They can also diagnose cancer via a needle aspirate or cytology. If cancer is diagnosed, then it will be referred to oncology.
Neurology
MRI, radiographs, Bear testing (hearing test), and spinal taps
Oncology
Radiographs, AUS, CT scans, RT staging
Radiology
Read all images (radiographs, AUS, CT scan, all scopes and MRI’s) taken in the hospital and create a report corresponding to the procedure.
They also perform each ultrasound and all outpatient ultrasounds.
Surgery
They see appointments on one day and perform surgery the next day. Ten to fourteen days post OP the sutures should be removed, and this is a free procedure.
Bandage changes occur every one to two days post op and the charge is based on the size of the bandage. Radiographs are usually 6-8 weeks post op.
