How will my life be affected by joining the defence force
I’ll be moved around a lot, I might be placed in a combat role that can be quite dangerous, I may not be able to share everything with family and friends, friends and family might not be able to kept in contact during times you would want them there, missing holidays or important events.
How’s my family feel about me joining
Dads extremely supportive- aware of perks and did some sailing when he was younger

Do I really want to be a sailor
Yes. This is the only career or job that I’ve seriously considered as something that will be rewarding and challenging and interesting and secure all at the same time. The structure the navy would provide I know will allow me to perform at my best.

Free to be moved or deployed across Australia and overseas as required
