1.Initial IC arrival, size up report, establish
command
2. BC and ICP SC should monitor radio while en route
3. BC gets a visual of the overall incident (360 size up),
identifies any concerns and potential ICS facility
locations (ICP, staging, etc.)
4. Initial IC transfers command to the BC
5. BC establishes the Incident Command Post (ICP)
6. BC assigns Command Post Assistant (CPA) and/or
ICP SC
7. Prepare for a transfer of command to additional
Overhead (AC, DC, CD or FC)
8. Demobilization
