What is Nervecentre (NC)?
Software that will send alerts if it thinks a patient my have sepsis depending on the observations that are inputted

Prompt escalation of patients who have (THink COuld Be Sepsis alerts) or NEWS2 > 5 alerts on Nervecentre
Ensure e-sepsis assessments complete
Assist in delivery of sepsis six bundle

S lured speech
Extreme shivering or muscle pain
P assing no urine (in a day)

S kin mottled
Mottled Skin
Poor blood flow to skin
May be cool to touch
Treatment of red flag sepsis
Intravenous antibiotics
Intravenous fluid resus
Diagnose source of sepsis and surgical control if needed
Senior Medical review
Escalate to IC if not improved
Sepsis Six Adults
- O2 mask therapy
- Sample blood and fluids to isolate cause of infection
- Intravenous antibiotics
- Intravenous fluid resus
- Blood sample to measure lactate levels (measures stress on patients organs)
- Monitor hourly production of urine
