Q

Method of distillation

A

Heat the mixture in a distilling flask in a set up .Then. when the thermometer first shows a reading of 100 degree Celsius , water boils off. Water vapour passes through the condenser, cools and condenses to produce liquid water , which is collected in the conicl flask as the distillate.
