We can separate a mixture according to its properties using physical methods
What is sieving?
Method where sieve is used to separate a mixture of different sized particles (solids).
What is filtration?
Method used to separate a solid from a liquid.

We can sort a mixture that is made up of solid particles by size, colours, textures or shapes by hand.

When the solif particles move between the liquid particles to gorm a mixture.

A substance that dissoves when making a solution.
What’s a solvent?
The liquid in a solution.
What is evaporation?
The of changing from a liquid to a gas because particles on the surface of the liquid escape into the atmosphere.
