How do you activate the slide ?
Mode select lever Armed

How do you know the Door is ARMED
Red band (automatic Mode indicator illuminates white)

How do you arm a door?
- Slide the door mode select lever “access cover open”
- Move…Armed…(red band)
- Automatic Mode…Illuminated (white Auto)
- Slide..access cover close
How do you disarm a door?
- Slide the door mode select lever “access cover open”
- Move…“Disarmed”…(Green band)
- Manual Mode…Illuminated (White = manual)
- Slide..access “cover close”
What is the normal Door opening procedure?
Secure self…door…assist handle
Mode S. lever DISARMED (green)
Manual mode Ind (White) illuminated
Rotate the door …handle AFT following the arrow
Push…door outwards and FWD until gust lock engages
Opening the door from outside will automatically
Disarm the door
How do you close the door from Inside?
- ” No debris or obstruction” around exit
- Grasp “assist handle” on the door frame
- ” Pull gust lock release handle” to release gust lock
- ” Pull door toward “ you and close the door slowly and firmly
- Door in fully close position… immediately rotate door control handle to lock the door.
- Door locking indicator = GREEN
How do you Open the door from outside?
- Push Red Flap & Pull door handle
outwards from recess - Rotate door handle
- Pull door out and FWD open until gust lock engages
What is the emergency Door Operations?
- Mode select Lvr ARMED
- Check outside
- Grasp assist handle
- Rotate AFT to release
- Pull Red manual inflation handle on right hand side of door girt
- Monitor slide/raft inflation
How is EPAS activated?
Mode Selector lever in ARMED position
