What is a ‘declarative’?
A
A declarative is telling something/a statement. Eg, I have finished my work.

A
An interrogative is asking something. Eg, can I stop working?

What is an ‘imperative’?
A
An imperative is demanding/inviting something (a command). Eg, you will finish your work.

What is an ‘exclamatory’?
A
An exclamatory is where we are expressing exclamations. Eg, I am not doing this work!

What is a ‘mitigated imperative’?
A
A mitigated imperative is less harsh/more polite than imperative. Eg, Please shut the door. (Used the word ‘please’, could also use the word ‘Let’s’).
