A
  • Can be used in the beginning or middle of a sentence.
  • “While” indicates that 2 actions are happening at the same time.
  • Usually used with a continuous verb tense (e.g. was coming back, was cooking).
  • Used to contrast 2 ideas with contrasting ideas (to highlight the difference)
