Q

What does sensory neurone, motor neurone and linking neurone do

A

Sensory neurone- pass impulses from the receptor In a sense organ like the ear to the CNS

Motor neurone-pass impulses from the CNS to ab effector like a muscle

Linking neurone-connects one nerve cell with another within the CNS

Q

Why is our brain important

A

The brain interprets information very well, the fist time you do something new and it is quite difficult the next time you do it the brain understands it and It is much easier

16
Q

How to protect our ears…..

A
  • Avoid loud noises
  • Use ear plugs around loud noises eg. An constitution site
  • turn the volume down
  • get regular hearing check ups
17
Q

Why do we have two ears

A

We need both ears to hear well, we have to ears to tell our brain which direction a sound is coming from

18
Q

Hearing range-

A

The range of pitches that a person can hear

19
Q

What is the hearing range of a human

A

20Hz- 20000Hz but some animals can hear beyond this range eg. Dogs

20
Q

What is the ear flap called

A

Pinna

21
Q

Cochlea

A

Changes sound vibrations into nerve impulses
