Why are sensation and perception similar?
Both are responsible for receiving an interpreting sensory information. When does it through body and then the mind (sensation) and one mind, body (perception).
What is transduction and why is it important?
Transduction is important because it converts one form of energy into another.

Sight- candle light from 17 feet
Taste- one grain of sugar for one gallon
Sound- watch tick from 20 feet
What is sensory adaptation?
Getting used to a stimulus
What is the quickest sense to adapt and the slowest?
The quickest to smell. The slowest is pain.
Why does our sense of sight never fully adapt?
Because our eyes never truly stop moving
