What are the seven types of landscapes?
The seven types of landscapes are karst, mountain, built, coastal, desert, riverine, tropical rainforest.
How are volcanos formed?
Volcanos are formed when magma pushes its way from beneath the earths crust. The material comes out of the volcano and builds up the earths surfaces.
What are tectonic plates?
two sub-layers of the earths crust that move, float and fractures and whose interactions causes continental drift, earthquakes.
How are mountains formed?
Mountains are formed where the surface of the earth has been pushed upwards.

What is Feudalism?
Feudalism is a way of organising society through a hierarchy which the most important at the top and the others ranked underneath in decreasing order of importance.
What were the houses and towns like?
The houses were made out of wood and the roof were straw. The peasants did all the farm work and they had to grow crops. The Knights had to protect the kingdom and fight when people were attacking. The nobles and church officials collected taxes. And the loyals just sat around and sometimes checked on the kingdom.
Who tortured the people? And why?
The people in the town tortured the person like if they steal or do something wrong.
How did they treat witches?
They treated the witches by burning them on the stake.
What influence did people believe the church had on their lives?
The people believed the church sent them to hell if they did something wrong by the church. They got there knowledge from there. Also if you didn’t go to church for no reason, everyone dismembered you and you couldn’t go anymore.
How did the church react to the Black Death?
The church sent priests to go help but then they started dying so they hid so they wouldn’t catch it.
What does natural and built mean?
The natural environment: it’s naturally on earth and its resources effect human survival and economic activity.
The built environment: is a man-made surrounding.

Mount Vesuvius: located 9km east of Naples. It erupted in 1994.
Mount Fuji: located in Japan.
Mount Etna: located in Italy.
Mount St Helens: located in America.
