A
- They were a toothless tiger and no means of acting in a fast or effective manner in any conflicts

- Japan were moving south

Why was communism a threat to Australia?

- If communism spread it would threaten Australia’s views and security
- Communist party in Australia started to gain power
- Tried to stop communism in Australia by passing a bill and changing the constitution
