In the graphic novel, Requiem for a Beast (2007) by Matt Ottley, constructs a descriptive story about a young boy who is surrounded by racists and people fuelled with prejudice. He is challenged with his own beast, after years if hiding his and his fathers deepest secrets. As he grows older, he independently acknowledges the horrific acts that Aboriginal people have been objected to, and believes that both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Australians are to reconcile to find peace.
