What is meant by the term ‘place’ in regard to selling the product? Why is it such a crucial element of the marketing mix?
A
Place is the point where products are made available to customers, and can be regarded to as distribution- which is the process of getting a firms product to the market. This is a crucial element of the marketing mix as a firm may have a revolutionary product but if the market has no access to the product then it will not become successful.
