What is SFP?

A

The concept from social psychology that refers to the process of something coming true because it was predicted to happen.
If a person is labelled they will internalise this belief and act accordingly

LABELLING→ involves a majority group considering a minority group as inferior + using inferior terms when talking about them
STEREOTYPING → thinking a whole group share characteristics it is based on a generalised and simplified view
