- Negative peer pressure
- negative physical or verbal actions intentionally harm someone and repeatedly
- direct or indirect
What are the different types of bullying and give a brief description of each
- Physical
• hitting kicking etc - Emotional
• spreading rumors, being left out - verbal
• aggressive language - cyber bullying
• use of technology to harass or intimidate someone
Why do people bully others?
- stress trauma
- aggressive behavior - can’t let out emotions
- they have been bullied
- difficult home life
- relationships
- insecurity or immaturity
What is the psychology of being bullied?
- looking for power and control - look for insecurities in other person
- blame ourselves and become self critical
- trying to change to avoid being bullied
- instead Of embracing traits cover them up develop long term insecurities
What is the difference between bullying and banter?
Banter is playful teasing or joking between friends - equal and funny
Bullying is when banter escalates and goes to something mean and offensive

• don’t be the same as everyone else embrace individuality - living life by design and not default
• focusing energy into actions that ensure you becoming who you want to be and taking control of your life - DONT LET LIFE JUST HAPPEN - being positive and expressing gratitude
