Owners of the means of production
Bourgeoisie
An antagonism growing out of the opposing interest held by exploiting and exploited classes
Class Conflict

Individuals who must sell their labor to the bourgeoisie
Proletariat
Actions people take in response to others (with emphasis on the forces that motivate people to act)
Social Action
Forces that cause societies to change
Social Dynamics
Forces that hold society together and give them endurance over time
Social Statics
System of social ties that acts as a cement bonding people to one another and to the wider society
Solidarity
Firsthand knowledge gained by living and working among those being studied, because knowing others increases empathy
