Effects of hydromorphone
Vomiting if im or sc, nausea, ileus, urinary retention, panting, hypoventilation, bradycardia, miosis, mydriasis, hyperthermia, inc. Pyloric sphincter tone (ring of smooth muscle that connects the stomach and small intestine. It opens and closes to control the passage of partially digested food)
Buprenorphine onset and duration

Mildly- moderate painful procedure
Effects of buprenorphine
Sedation, euphoria, agitation, bradycardia, tachycardia, miosis, mydriasis, hyperthermia
