How can a volcano help a lake?
Rivers are blocked by empty craters, mud, and lava. It’ll form a lake.
How can eutrophication change a lake into a meadow?
When a thick algae layer becomes to thick, it blocks sunlight. So, plants cant carry out photosynthesis, and they’ll die. Without food and oxygen from the plants, animals will die. Decaying material from dead organisms pile up at the bottom, making the lake shallower. As the area fills, land and plants grow in the mud. Eventually, the area fills in with plants, and a meadow replaces the former lake.
Though eutrophication occurs naturally, how can human activities cause or increase it?
