Personalisation:
Building models to better predict what user’s would like to see.
Processing/Perception Fluency:
- The ease with which humans can process information.
- Content that is easy to process is usually perceived as more trustworthy.
Responsiveness:
- Humans are habituated to responsive environments.
- Interactions should be acknowledged/confirmed.
- Registering actions with appropriate feedback.
- Reinforce ‘Positive’ or useful behaviours.
Hedonic Adaptation:
Humans become accustomed to a positive or negative stimulus.
Emotional effects of those stimuli are attenuated over time.
