That the Bible must be clear on the subject. Each text answers the question correctly. Each gives the same answer in different terms.

In Acts 16, Paul and Silas confronted a man who knew little if anything about God, so what did they do?
They let him know that the way of salvation is through Jesus Christ.
What do we see from the three passages we studied about salvation?
Salvation comes only through repentance from sin and faith in Jesus Christ.
If we have genuine faith in Christ, what will we do?
Repent of our sins, be baptized in His name, receive His Holy Spirit, and continue to live a holy Christian life by faith.
How do we receive in present salvation from sin and future salvation from all the consequences of sin?
By having genuine faith in Jesus.
In our search for a biblical answer to the question of how to be saved; we must attach great significance to this verse. Why?
1) It is an answer that had the full endorsement of all the Apostles.
2) It is the close of the first sermon of the New Testament church.
3) It is the authoritative answer of the Apostolic church.
