  • Dibley needs a new vicar and is expecting a man vicar.
  • Turns out the Vicar is a women and many people are against this.
  • Over time she overcomes this and is successful as a Vicar.

  • They think it is a joke and are very shocked by it.
  • They don’t want her there as Jesus didn’t have any female disciples.
  • They don’t want any change in the Church and want to take action against this.
  • Some people were ready to accept her as a Vicar

  • No far some parts.
  • The villages want to remove the Vicar and don’t want her as Vicar,however some religions accept women Vicar’s (Modern Liberal Protestants).
  • Made it out as though religious people don’t support women’s rights.
  • Refers to the modern Church as an experiment
  • It gave honest opinions as to how people would respond as not everyone would want a woman Vicar.
