Create User Template

Create a basic template for future use and for other admins to use.
Create a domain setup and password for the user.
Assign license(s) to the user.
Assign roles.
Save the template and it can then be used new users.

Importing Multiple Users
MS365 provides a CSV template to be filled out and uploaded. Then the spreadsheet can be imported into the cloud service.
Useful when onboarding to MS365, hiring a large group, or adding employees after a buyout.
Email and Storage Licensing
In order to use email in MS365, a user MUST HAVE an Exchange license.
OneDrive also has to have a license.
Managing Users
Admins can reset passwords, block a user’s sign-in, and delete users.
Multiple users can be modified simultaneously.
MS Teams
MS is attempting to make an intuitive system for users to start using the cloud immediately. Teams is the main service for achieving this.
MS Teams is MS’s collaboration tool. It provides IM, web conferencing, screen sharing, working together, etc.
Users interact with Teams by downloading the app to their PC or to a mobile device.
Users can also the the Teams’ web app in a browser.

The list of teams user is a member of is on the list.
Each team will have channels listed below it.
User and team activity is visible.
Chat messages, calendar, MS Exchange and SharePoint, calls, and active files can be shared.

MS Teams Components
OneDrive for Business provides file storage and file linking. It also links to SharePoint. There is a OneDrive admin center also.
SharePoint is a collaboration product. It hosts employee websites, tutorials, bulletin boards, and everything links to Teams.

Security Options and Definitions
Manage Alerts=Configure type of alerts received when security issues arrive. Alerts can be messages, emails, etc.
Permissions=Roles, which grant authority to groups and users.
Classification=Classifying data by sensitivity level and specifying retention levels. Sensitivity levels controls who can share it and where it can be shared.
Data Loss Prevention=Managing and preventing accidental deletion and sharing.
Information Governance=Labeling information.
Supervision=Advanced threat protection from emails, investigations, simulated attacks against users.
Mail Flow
Data Privacy=GDPR compliance, etc.
Can search for all files and events.
Discovery
Reports=Security and audit reports can be generated.
