Who can a CYP nominate as a person to be with them when taking a statement or interviewed?
A
Their parents, adult member, family or any adult over the age of 20. If they refuse to nominate anyone, then a support person will be nominated. It cannot be an officer unless the CYP has a parent/guardian as an officer
