How many cusps are there on the a mandibular pre molar?
The pre molars in the mandible usually have two cusps. With the baccal dominating the lingual in height and area.

The lower first molar has five well developed cusps, usually arranged in the Y-5 pattern.
How many cusps are there on the a mandibular third molar?
The third lower molar usually has four or less cusps that are arranged with more variability.

Maxillary canines have a single cusp.

Maxillary first molars have four well developed cusps arranged in a rhombic shape.
