Also known as the waterfall technique. It is plan-driven. We try and plan as much of the project as possible. Changes are tightly controlled.

What is the difference between Iterative and Incremental life cycles?
- Iterative = Legos -work on certain requirements of a project BEFORE releasing
- Incremental = Train cars- Keep adding improvements onto an already product.
What is an adaptive life cycle?
-Change Driven project management with rapid iterations of the project. Change is expected from the scope
What is a Kanban Board
A board from left to right starts with user stories backlog and goes from in progress to done.
How can we tailor the project management process?
- Choose what processes are needed on ever project
- Ask how in depth should we go into a process
- Not every process needs to be used
- The larger the project the more processes should be used
What are the steps to determine what processes are needed?
Ask why we neeed:
- Certain knowledge areas
- Process
Then
- Tailor to fit your project
- Include an overview of tailoring efforts
