What do Roman Catholics believe in life after death?
Believe in purgatory, where the souls of sinners are sent to be cleansed.
What might a Christian do as a response to the afterlife?
Confession Prayer Doing good work Putting Christian teachings into action Vocation (choosing to dedicate their lives through jobs such as a doctor/priest/nun)
Why do Muslims believe in the afterlife?
The Qur’an states that we come from Allah and we must return to Allah.
Surahs 11 and 56 teach that those who live a good life will go to al’Jannah.
The teaching and practice of the Prophet.
How does the belief in life after death affect Muslims?
Try to follow Qur’an and Shari’ah law.
Follow example of Prophet Muhammad.
Act the way Allah wishes.
Believe that Allah sees everything.

Humans are mortal-when a person dies their body decays
Religion is outdated-old ideas that were used to control people and their behaviour

When is abortion allied in Islam?
They believe that abortion is wrong but believe that it can be accepted in some cases because the foetus wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for the mother and the mother’s life is established and she has responsibilities.

Abortion not allied if the pregnancy is a result of adultery
An unplanned pregnancy is not the reason for abortion
Muslim women believe they should be able to choose what happens.
