Seatbelts
all occupants use safety restraints in passenger vehicles. Seatbelt use is now a primary violation in Kansas as well. police officer will stop the vehicle is a unrestrained child or unrestrained adult solely for that violation.
Child restraints
all children under the age of four must be restrained in a federal approved child safety seat

all children forward to eight years of age must be restrained in a federally approved child safety seat our booster seat unless the child is taller than 4’9” or weighs more than 80 pounds. They must use a safety belt

when turning
turn on turning signal 100 feet before making the actual move our turn. They should be left on until the turn has been made
turning on multilane roads
in making a right turn from a 4 Lane Divided Highway enter the right lane well in advanced of the turn and make a tight turn into the right lane of the cross street
turns on multilane roads
for left turns move near the center line or traffic divider and turn from the inside lane in a way that you will not swing wide and will enter the cross street just to the right of the center lane
u-turns
do not make a U-turn on a curve near the top of a hill or anywhere you cannot see or be seen by other vehicles for at least 500 feet. Obey local ordinances and regulatory signs regarding such turns
passing
check the road in front and behind you before you pass. Turn left sing the lawn, use your right signal after passing before returning to the right lane. Do not return to the right lane too soon wait until you can see the entire front of the vehicle

The no passing zone
is the only pennant shaped warning sign. it marks the beginning of a no passing zone and is placed on the left side of the road facing the driver
double solid yellow line
prohibits traffic in both directions from crossing the centerline. You must return to your driving lane before coming within 200 feet of another vehicle approaching from the opposite direction
passing on the right
do not drive on the shoulder to pass except during emergencies or when directed by traffic authorities. When passing on the right check traffic ahead and behind and you signals to show your intentions
following other vehicles
use the two second rule for measuring a safety folly distance under prime conditions. Under adverse conditions use a four second following rule to avoid collision if the car in front of you stops abruptly
stop sign
A complete stop is required. At a stop sign you must stop at the clearly marked stop line, but if none, before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection, or if none, then at the point nearest to the intersection roadway
stopping
whenever asked to stop by anything or anyone come to a complete stop. Red means stop
School buses stop
you must stop when meaning are overtaking by school bus and you must remain stopped until a stop signal is retracted or the red lights are turned off
Speed Limit- towns or cities
