Central Nervous System (CNS)
The boss of the body’s actions, managing both mechanical and chemical tasks. It includes the brain and spinal cord.
Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
The messenger system of the body, connecting the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) to the rest of the body to relay information.
Somatic System
This part of the body’s messenger system (PNS) deals with signals that make your muscles move, responding to things happening outside your body.
Autonomic System:
Another part of the messenger system, it’s like the body’s internal manager, regulating things inside you. It regulates things you cannot control like your heart rate, blood pressure and digestion
Sympathetic Division:
It’s the alarm system, getting your body ready for action by using up energy.
Parasympathetic Division:
This is the chill mode, helping your body save and gather energy for later.
