“Hyde” is a homophone for ‘hide’ and this resembles secrecy; Stevenson may have also ‘deformed’ the spelling of his name to exaggerate the effect of Hyde’s unusual personality.
Imperitive “shall” shows the extent Mr Utterson will go to uncover the truth about Hyde and Jekyll.

Dr. Jekyll wants others to keep away from him, not to find out the truth
“Barred with iron” is described as a jail cell - Jekyll has committed crimes and is now atoning for them
“Window” could represent the opening of one’s soul and, since it’s “bared with iron”, it shows the extremity to hide secrets

“Dingy” - slang for mentally deranged- reflects what’s going on inside
