Tourism that attracts large numbers of people due to a site’s scenic beauty

People who travel and stay in places outside their usual environment for more than 24 hours but less than one consecutive year for leisure,business and other purposes

What is domestic tourism?
Tourism within a tourists’ own country

- Singapore drew 2.4 million business travellers in 2017,accounted for 14% of all visitors in 2016
- Singapore hosted the annual meetings of the board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund(IMF) , World bank Group in 2006, Youth Olympic games in 2010 and the International Air transport(IATA) Global Aviation Human Capital Summit in 2011
Why do people travel to places with better medical facilities?
-tourists wants to avoid long waiting periods or high cost for medical treatment in their home countries
-tourists seek better qualities procedures that may not be readily available in their home countries
What is medical tourism?
When people travel to a destination to undergo medical procedures that would enhance or restore health
