Why do we have seasons
The earth is split into two sections. The northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. The earth is on a 23.5 tilt and if the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun we will have summer. If the northern hemisphere is tilting away from the sun we will have winter.
