Why do we have seasons
As Earth revolves around the Sun, some parts of Earth receive more direct sunlight than others as a result of Earth’s tilted axis. This uneven exposure to direct sunlight causes seasons.
If all parts of the Earth receive the same amount of sunlight though out the year why do the temperatures change.
This is because some parts depending on whether they are tilted towards are away from the sun receive more direct and indirect light. direct light is more intense (hot) because it is more concentrated. Indirect light is less intense because it is spread out. Another reason is because the Earth is a sphere which also creates uneven direct sunlight exposure. (Changing temperature and weather)
Why are the days longer in the summer than in the winter.(make a diagram)
If your in the Northern hemisphere and it is summer that means you are tilted towards the sun. Because of that the sun appears higher in the sky from Earth. That also means the it would take the sun longer to finish rising in the east and setting the west. And vise versa for the winter.

Why do the length of our shadows change through out the day
Because the height of the sun changes in the sky the lower the sun to the ground the longer/bigger the shadow the higher in the the sky the shorter the shadow
What is an Equinox
A day with equal amount of light and darkness
If the daylight hours stay roughly the same as night hours in October and Spring what does that mean for the weather/temperature
The weather is pretty mild. not too hot not too cold

The longest & shortest days of the year (day being amount of daylight hours)
When it is winter in the Northern hemisphere what is it in the Southern hemisphere? How do you know
It is summer in the Southern hemisphere. I know because The Northern and Southern hemispheres are always experiencing the opposite season.
