Due to the fallacious nature of my chronometer and the inability of my cerebrum to function in a manner of an august chief petty officer, I am unable to ascertain the correct military time to a punctilious degree. However, it is my firm conviction that the approximate military time is ( insert correct time here).

What is a chief petty officer?
A chief petty officer takes initiative in the absence of orders and actions to overcome obstacles, acts for command-wide effectiveness, and insists on full job responsibility.
what is the difference between a CHIEF and an E-7
- The E-7 is always a part of the problem.
The Chief is always a part of the solution. - The E-7 always has an excuse.
The Chief always has a plan - The E7 says, That’s not my job.
The Chief says, Let me show you how to do that. - The E7 Sees a problem for every answer.
The Chief sees an answer for every problem. - The E7 says, it may be possible but, its too difficult.
The Chief says, it may be difficult, but its possible. - The E7 is always to busy to do what is necessary.
The Chief works harder than an E7 and has more time. - The E7 makes promises.
The Chief make commitments.

There are only Three appropriate responses to any question or situation.
They are as follows:
- Answer the question!
- If you do not know the answer to the question, don’t waste the time of the chief petty officer that is asking you the question. Simply state that you do not know the answer but because you are a dedicated chief selectee, you will return to them with the answer no later than 24 hours from the time at which the question was asked.

When exiting the Chiefs Mess we must all together state to the most junior Chief:
We, the FY-23 CPO Selectees, very, very respectfully request permission to depart the hallowed halls of the CPO mess. We have greatly enjoyed this training session and look forward to another session ( insert next training day and time), SAME SELECTEES, ONLY BETTER!
RULES OF THE CHIEF:

- Whoever approaches the chief with an idea of their own, must leave with the chief’s idea.

How High is up?
Up is equal to the amplitude, but in opposite direction to the delineation of down and is used in such phrases as “ Up your Nose”, and “You are all Hosed Up, SIR”.
