What is Pessimism?
Life is striving for things, and you are temporarily satisfied when you accomplish said thing you are temporarily satisfied but then you start striving for something else
How to defeat Pessimism?
Become a monk - you have no desires
What is the idea of the Ubermensch/Undermensch?
An Ubermensch comes along and changes society and everyone else is an Undermensch (slaves/rule followers), but then they become the Undermensch when another Ubermensch comes along to change society again
What must the Ubermensch have?
The “Will to Power” (a drive to resist and change)

Life is inherantly meaningless, and you have to give it meaning
