Business needs and potential solutions arise from the combined efforts of cross-functional, self-managed teams and customers
What does Sprint mean?
A sprint combines all steps related to produce a product (Brainstoriming planing and exectuting)
How does the Scrum Cycle look like?

What happens during the Sprint review?
Scrum Team + Stakeholder evaluate the product
What happens in the Retrospective phase?
The Scrum team evaluates its working methods
Which rolls are in a Scrum team?

What is the role of a Scrum Master?
Supports the devlopers
Builds the team atmosphere
Making Sure that the Scrum rules are being followed
What is the role of a Product Owner?
- Maintains an overview of the product backlog! Product Backlog manager (add remove and order new features or ideas)
- Define the product goal/objective
- Constantly colaborating with the Stakeholders

The working people
How long is typically a sprint and how often do people meet during the sprint phase?
1 month and daily
What are the 3 Scrum artifacts?
The Product Backlog
The Sprint Backlog

How do you define the Prodcut Backlog?
The overall planing list for a goal.
Example: If you are planning a trip, the product backlog contains all the necessary steps to get you to your destination.
How do you define the Sprint Goal?
It is one piece of the Prodcut Backlog which will be the center of attention for the upcoming sprint
How do you define the product increment?
It is the desired quality of a prodcut
What do the scrum artifact represent?
Work and value
What do the Scrum artifacts & product goal provide?
Transparency, inspection and adaptation (Especially the product backlog)
What are the three Goald in SCRUM?
- Sprint Goal
- Product Goal (Only1)
- Product vision (Companies vision)
What can be contained in a product Backlog?
Mainly -> Features/ideas (Product Backlogs Item)

Description

Acceptance Criteria
The team works on those 5 point!
How ist the product goal and the product backlog related?
The Product goal is the commitment for the product Backlog
-> Easy language: Every item included in the Backlog must be alligned with the Goal
What does Product Backlog refinment mean?
Larger Items are Broken down into smaller ones
Who works on the product refinment?
The developers (mainly) and product owner
What is the proper term of breaking down an item?
Sizing / Estimation
Who is responsible for the sizing?
The developers
When does the refinment or the sizing take place?
The Scrum team decides when the refinment takes place! (it is not set)
But usually right at the bginnnig after the Product owner created the first list
What is so special about the product Backlog?
it is never complete
How is the prodcut backlog orderd?
Items at the top should be ready for the next sprint
When are items at the top?
When they are small & detailed enough and immediately actionable
How does the Scrum team break donw the product backlog item?
With the help pf user stories! (Short descriptions of a features explained form the perspective of the person who desires the function
What are the 3 Steps to create a good user storie?
- Card
- Conversation
- Confirmation
What does “Card” stand for? And what should be written down in the card?
It determines how long the text should be of a user story.
Who has the need? What is the need? And why do I have the need?
What does “Conversation” stand for?
The user story should be an conversation opener not to detailed
What does “Confirmation” stand for?
The acceptance criteria is an addtion to the user story.
So things that can not be changed!
Exp: The start page should include a button called our products
