-This transformation has changed Scrooge physically and mentally

-Sends it anonymously Dickens present Scrooges first kind act towards to the poor
“Scrooge regarded everyone with a delighted smile”
-In contrast to himself in Stave 1 where he is repulsive to other now he is much kinder, appealing, affectionate, joyful, friendly man
“A great many back payments”
-Scrooge is more generous then ever in comparison with him in Stave 1 where he doesn’t donate to the portly gentle men in stave 5 he donates to the Portly gentleman
“I am about to raise your salary”
“He was a second father”
“God bless us, everyone!”
- The novella ends with Tiny Tim saying “god bless us everyone!” Dickens uses this last heart warming message telling the reader that poverty can be overcome if everyone in society helps to become more generous and kind
