This is what Jesus warned His followers about… “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal! Instead lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal. Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also… No one can serve two masters! Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MONEY!”

Matthew 6:25-24
Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? 26 Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are not ye of much more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto [a]the measure of his life? 28 And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Do not be confirmed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind
Acts 20:24
Acts 20:24, ESV: But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
Tearing down my idol my false god
What does this false god give me?
- A false sense of security
Food
Things
Money
- The prayers of a righteous man prevail much
Through prayer and supplication
Daniel sought the Lord
Seek and you will find
Knock and the door will be opened

( my prayer life- my connection with Jesus with my Heavenly Father)
Eyes on things above not on things of this earth
Displacing the old foundation-
Dividing asunder between soul and spirit
Jesus is the chief cornerstone
I count my life as dung… for the sake of the gospel

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

We turn from the creator to the created things and tend to worship the created things
Thought: Satan was a created angel he was beautiful God made him the lead worship angel??
You will worship the Lord God and him only
