What is Action Analysis?
First Impression before diving deeper. Analyzes internal and external actions based on events. Intro into formalist Analysis. Looking at climaxes and characters. Serves as a guide
What is a point of attack?
Where the play starts in relation to the background story. Plot Starts. Ex: The death of king hamlet.

gives circumstance of the play

The backstory or intro to characters and setting.

Changes the direction of the play and sets up the conflict that will present itself in the climax.

The turning point of the story that changes everything.
