Aphasia Language Performance Scales (ALPS)

~An informal standardized assessment that takes about 20-30 minutes
~ Uses objects in the examiner’s pockets and in the pts room
~ Assesses all four language modalities: receptive language, expressive language, reading, and writing
~ In general, will give you basic information about the client
