Diffuse = widespread, rapidly progressive skin thickening proximal to elbows & knees, early visceral Dz
Limited = restricted, non-progressive Dz, affects distal extremities (elbows/knees down)
Overlap = diffuse or limited scleroderma with features of other connective tissue Dz
