Research can be defined as the SYSTEMATIC, COLLECTION, DESCRIPTION, ANALYSIS & INTERPRETATION of data to answer a certain question or solve a problem.

Scientific research comprises creative work undertaken on a systematic basis using well established methodology in order to increase stock of knowledge, including the knowledge of man, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge to device new applications.
