A
The variable which changes in response to the change made with the independent variable.

A
The variable which is kept the same for both the control and the experimental groups in an experiment.

A
The extent to which a experiment gives similar results each time it is preformed.
- Reliability is maximised by repetition and the removal of outliers.

A
- If a study is valid it represents what it was intended to represent.
- Validity is increased by improving experimental design and controlling more variables.

Ethics for experiments
A
- voluntary participation
- the subject should not be pressured into taking part in the investigation
- informed consent- subjects should be fully informed about the objectives of the research, procedures, any possible risks, and the potential benefits of the research. CONSENT SHOULD ONLY BE SOUGHT AFTER ALL INFO HAS BEEN GIVEN.
